Dear my love ones,
I hope you are all well and fresh.
This last Saturday the 26th of July 08 was another memorable day of mine. This is the day that I received the awards for my singing career for the first time in my life from the Lao Music Award 2008. And, it was also the first Official Music Award Event hosted in LAOS.
I am so proud to be part of the Lao Music Scene as well as to this first Lao Music Award. Being one of the nominees for the Best Pop Song and the Best Female Singer (among the other talented Lao Female Singers) is an honor. Having the experience on the red carpet to be able to feel the energy of the crowd (screaming ^_^) and the fans who were waiting to see your classy look was a great fun. Performing for the night and witnessing the success of the other talented Lao artists were the wonderful memories.
More than that, getting to know the feeling of the exciting moment when they announced your name as the winner for the award was everything that you ever wish for as an artist (me; as a singer, as a song writer, and a co-producer… I am always hands on on my art work; my music
… and I know that it all pays off for the hard work through these years … this journey is worth it. This is the greatest memory that I’ll keep with me.
I am so thrilled ….
It’s been a long journey and how can I do this alone? if it has not been because of your supports to me … the journey to part II may not begin.
Therefore, I am writing to thank you all of you and would like to tell you that these two awards:
- The Best Pop Song of the Year; “Khauw Hoo Suek Bork” (where I started writing right after my trip from the US)
- The Best Female Singer
